Samkani
As one of the local regions in the Ketrikkhaz Archipelago, Samkani shares many of the aspects also found elsewhere in the archipelago. Most of the region is settled by Amrilni, though the island of Lotuku contains a larger harbor where Other people from various merchant vessels can be found.
Most of the islands within Samkani tend towards being hilly at most, with Sakalda, Rilakha, Khinia and Lotuku being the exceptions with small mountains for the former two and larger ones for the latter. Khinia in particular stand out, as the mineral rich mountains have gained the attention of both the Cannonball Trade Company and others who would wish to establish mining operations on the island, much to the dismay of locals who have unfavorable views towards the larger trade companies.
Beyond this, the region also considers itself to have very few Soul Keepers as the herbalists and healers tend to be among those who knows how to handle the spirits of the region instead, using their knowledge of nature and plants as a part of the rituals they perform.

Local Culture
Sharing many of their cultural traits with the rest of the Dulinri, the Samkani region has a few differences from the norm. Among these is the local Lunar Celebration that is celebrated every full moon. Though many of the celebrations are similar as other places, a focus is also put on the Lunar Hunt in which many members of the tribe will compete with each other to hunt a prey and bring it back for the celebration's feast.Beyond this, the region also considers itself to have very few Soul Keepers as the herbalists and healers tend to be among those who knows how to handle the spirits of the region instead, using their knowledge of nature and plants as a part of the rituals they perform.
Local Hazards
As other places in the archipelago, pirates are not unheard of in Samkani, though they remain a rare sight due the presence of the Blue Talons. One of the rumors surrounding the region however is that it is used as the base of operations for Whitescar's Claws sailing under merchant flags, but this idea is large dismissed by the locals. Other rumors similarly exist around certain islands in the region, such as the fog covered isle of Ralvani that the common sailors prefer avoiding for fear of what may lie within the mist, not helped by the unwelcomeness of the locals.
