Nimueh has a symbol of three dots on her left lower arm. Recently, this mark has been adorned with a tattoo which covers nearly her full lower arm.

Apparel & Accessories

Nimueh wears an ocher yellow shirt and dark navy trousers. Over this, a simple studded leather armour set. Ever since getting her tattoo, she often wears the armour without the vambraces and her sleeves rolled up.

On the belt around her waist hangs the red leather-covered grimoire gifted to her from her patron. A second belt serves as a sword belt for her shortsword. Finally, her mahogany backpack is filled with a ritual casting book, papers, ink, journals, potions of health, feathers, and a carefully packed flute. And it is just slightly too heavy for her.

Nimueh grew up in Mercia, a small town close to Jordberg. Born to Seraide and Vortigen of Mercia, the current (mostly ceremonial) mayors of the small city, she had a relatively quiet and somewhat sheltered childhood.
With an older sister, Ysolda, and a much younger brother, Ciaran, the house was often busy.

Education

Started her studies in jurisprudence, before she headed out to Baferton to either find a mentor for the next phase of her studies or some information about her newfound powers.

The studies included parts of history, debate and skills in insight.

Employment

A member of The Swords Of Eluin, an adventure group, who are in turn employed at the Golden Army of Apelés.

Failures & Embarrassments

Once tried to put on a full suit of armour and totally failed.

Nearly died during a fight at a haunted house.

Mental Trauma

Her brother was snatched away when they outside together. She has blamed herself for her impotence at that moment. But has learned to let it go slowly after her brother was returned.

Was nearly killed during a fight with a night hag. Has gotten a somewhat irrational fear for the spell that was used to do this: magic missile.

Nimueh is average intellect-wise, but she has a good intuition and a way with people. However, she is still quite naive, though her time with The Swords of Eluïn has been changing that.

Motivation

Since she got in touch with magic and all it entails, she has been getting more and more interested in what is out there and how she can use it. One of her goals has therefore formed around gathering and learning as much as possible about different kinds of magic.

The source of her magic determines one of her other goals: getting more info, or if possible, in touch with her patron.

Other goals include growing as a person, discovering new and interesting places. As well as documenting these adventures, knowledge and information for safekeeping

Likes & Dislikes

Nimueh likes travelling and investigating the world, learning about different types of magic and understanding how it works and where it comes from and has picked up a liking for collecting information of these things in the form of writing and documenting. Tattoos and intricate designs of art and magic circles have also caught her attention these past few months.

Dislikes include unjust judgement, destroying important places of history or knowledge and misuse of power.

Initially, she really was not fond of heights, but through her travels and learning about spells like 'Fly', this fear has slowly faded. After an encounter with a night hag, she has developed a fear of the magic missile spell, however, with her new ring, this fear is very manageable.

18th day in the Feywild, continued

We got picked up by the rest of the group who had found their way to the summoning circle underneath the castle. To get there, we went through a cut painting. A rather large one that was, must have cost fortunes. The circle was in an enormous room with the skeleton of a huge creature sitting there on a chair it seemed? It wielded a sword the size of maybe 10 of ours. Ferrum noted that it must have been a titan -his scholar-y side showing- and he started telling about the fights between the titans, I zoned out a little bit during that conversation as I started looking at the magic circle carved into the floor. The runes in the circle seemed rather rudimentary and I only got a faint blip of conjuration magic from it. I was startled from studying when yet another group of planetars appeared. They spoke again, something about us, and something about protecting? During all this, Rogue tried to sneak away towards the titan's skeleton, to the great annoyance of his brother who angrily followed. I am just not going to intervene I think. The conversation of the planetars continued. "are they leaving?" "we don't know" "what are they doing?" "communicating" "why?" "we don't know". Ferrum decided to go and try to talk with them, but we all just heard "Are they sane?" "no", so I am not quite sure how well that went. More talking, the wizard fella tried to take the lead. More conversation, something along the lines of: "are we wrong?" "no we are not? " "are they good? " "we don't know" "do they know?" "i don't think so". At this point, I decided to go and set up Leomunds tiny hut. Just to have someplace to sit safely.
During setting up that I picked up a few more words, such as "they are evil" "they might be"

Once we gathered in the hut, the Rogue, Halvar, Brynjar, whatever took out the summoning text. We had to wall out the wizard -which was done by Ferrum keeping him outside the bubble-, to ensure we did not get killed by the Elemental Prince for sharing the information, to the wizards great discontent. We quickly realized that none of us can speak, read or understand Terran. Luckily with the helm of comprehend languages, it became legible for us!
And with that, our rogue walked out, helmet on his head and summoning text in his hand, and summoned the bloody thing! Talking about planning! Still, it worked out, I sat in the hut for most of the battle, but I feel I could help them a bit from a distance? The ground shook and the walls started collapsing slightly when this creature made of stone arose from the ground. Stones flew around, jaws snapped at us. I mostly saw Liya firing arrows at an alarming speed at this creature, and the wizard hopped in and out of the hut quite often. I was concentrating on keeping the barbarians in the air. Interestingly, the creature seemed to be trying to break out of this underground cavern? It was stopped by a wall of force, but the walls had taken significant damage. The planatars hovered above as we killed this Zarathan, destroyer of worlds.

Eerily, once the dust settled a bit, we could see light coming from the side of the mountain that the Zarathan had tried to breakthrough. Slightly alarmed, but hurt immensely, we decided to let those who need to rest rest, while the others retrieved the heart. This heart, embedded in a body of stone, was not easy to get out. Ferrum and Zolos did their best, but only with some magical aid from the rogue did they finally get it free. The wizard tried to talk with the planetars again. they seemed to be focused on the damaged side of the mountain.

The heart is a very large crystal by the by, at least 2,4,4 meters. I am not sure how we are going to carry that up the stairs, let alone out of this mountain. Perhaps Baradox can help here. In the meanwhile, a message was sent to Roberta, informing her of the retrieval of the heart of a titan and informed about the next item: lightning in a bottle. The response was "be creative".

And with that, we decided to ask the planetars for help, carrying the crystal heart out of the castle. Somewhat hesitantly, they agreed. Together we brought the crystal outside. And with a "They are gone, thus so are we" the planetars disappeared. We found it strange, but what was even stranger was the next seven or so minutes, in which the entire castle collaped upon itself, into the large cellar/cavern that we had fought the Zarathan in!

So, now, we are sitting in a tiny hut placed partly over the crystal. The light refracts in the hut in all these pretty colours. If only we were not next to the rubble of the castle and the temple. The dust is settling and the mist caused by the dragon seems to be lifting more and more and the mess that is now the castle is showing ever clearer in the setting sun

After some sleep, we will probably message Baradox is he can come and get us. Maybe Liya and some people can also go and see if there is anything salvageable from the dragon a little down the mountain. Hide and claws are useful I thought. I am not sure actually, but that is it for today, I need to keep watch with Ferrum.
