Session notes 5-7-2019 & 21-7-2019

After arriving in Beidon, we make our way to a tavern where we can stay. Soon we stumble upon the Hearty Pillow, a fine place for our time here. Beidon is a port city, it's busy in the streets and there are all kinds of goods for sale throughout this place. Lucky for us, as we have a nice book for sale!
 
With the spellbook, we make our way towards the auction house The Silver Hammer. Tomorrow there will be an auction, and thus we plan to return the next day.
 
 
16th of Irawish
 
The book was sold today for a very nice price. William and Erky did their best to make the bidding go a little faster and a bit higher. This worked out just fine, and we ended up with 522,5gp each!
 
However, this good news was overshadowed by the fact that we hear rumours of people disappearing in the city. There is little known about these vanishings, but kidnapping is deemed the most likely. In the past two weeks, already 3 people have turned up missing.
 
With an already somewhat full head, we decide to go and visit Sybil. Recod gave us her information, and we indeed find her in here bakery “Bread Kneaded”. She is a lovely lady and we talked with her a bit about the city. After bringing up the story we heard about the disappearances, she explains to us that there might be a connection to the new church that is being built in the centre of town: the construction of it started two weeks ago, the missing people are all guild members that were helping the church, and they were all kidnapped while on their way from church to home.
 
The missing people:
 
Arien Darents, a carpenter
Lick Sivpah, a butcher
Won Jillian, an architect
And a fourth person turned up missing soon after
Zen greenway, a guard.
 
With this new information, we thank Sybil for her time and make our way back to the Hearty Pillow.
 
During dinner, we sit down and device a plan. We plan to lure out the abductores. Thalmiir will pretend to be a skilled smith, he used to have his own forge so he has the connections and the knowledge to do this. With this, we hope to trick the kidnappers into taking Thalmiir. We will be keeping watch, ready to strike if they appear.
 
 
17th & 18th of Irawish

Sadly, our plan does not seem to be working. Maybe we are not patient enough, maybe something else is happening entirely.
