Impudence incarnate, thy name is Petrus

And so we dive into the ruins of Gomurz.
 
After the haunt room, we went further into the tunnels and caverns, just to run into Petrus’s predecessor - the last champion of the Golden Lady.
She found Petrus to be impudent, cursed him, then tried to brutally murder us all. Thankfully she was defeated and we accidentally freed Petrus from the curse by breaking her cursed scimitar, that Alister found buried under the twisted holy symbol that brought down the city.
 
After the fallen angel, we fought a… lockpick ooze? Cute in a horrifying way, and can harden itself into metal.
 
The lockpick ooze triggered a wheel of misery, and I’ve never heard a name so fitting. Confetti firing, cursing and cursed magical wheel’o fortune that almost killed several of us right after the ooze.
 
Alister has named it Jeremy and it’s now in the bag of holding.
 
Petrus lost his mechanical arm, and brings a ray of delight to this cursed place. Even the Golden Lady approves. His scimitar now has a smiley icon face forever more in golden light.
 
The lesson learned here, is everything here hates Petrus and thinks he’s an impudent little shit, a heretic and a curse on life. The cursed cult leader wraith was no exception, considering he kept tanking its hits and attacks.
 
When it knocked me down, it looked through my memories and used the information to steal the scroll of resurrection. I can rebut the scroll, but it adds an extra 30pgp to the cost of the transaction…. Not a good day.
