Jasper's Journal: Battle with Baba

5th of Uktar, 1491 DR

We are fighting Baba Lysaga in the swamps near Berez. She has a hut with legs and a flying dragon skull - excellent business ventures for transport if I can procure them... Also had an idea upon seeing the skull, skeleton servants! Perhaps necromancy has uses beyond evil? Ander may be able to help... could be very profitable.

Crazy Phenic starts climbing the tree for some reason! Morric is stunned through some powerful magic. I shot my sunbursts at her and Ander + Vadania blast her with their magics.

Phenic is attacked by a tons of vines, so I give Piccolo a potion of greater healing to give to him, and tell him to climb the tree. I stand by the base of the tree, Baba Lysaga out of range of my sunbolts, so I start throwing my darts at her.

Witch casts cloudkill, it knocks out Ander and Vadania. The cloud moves out onto Piccolo and I, and it kills Piccolo. I run over and revive Vadania, asking her to save my monkey, but she is knocked out again.

Ander dies from the cloudkill and tells me about the tome and to keep it safe. I tell him I will make things right and bring him back. I get his bag and pull out a potion, giving it to Vadania and screaming at her to save our friends.

I sprint forward, leaping 10 feet into the air and decking Baba Lysaga in the face, imbuing the hit with my ki and stunning her from the force of the impact.

As she sat there stunned, the tree hit me and vadania, knocking her out.

I spend all my remaining ki, leaping 10 feet straight into the air and repeatedly beating the witch until she fell to the ground dead.

Afterwards I scream out in anger, then compose myself and run over to vadania, only to be knocked out by the branch of the tree hut.

I died.
