Not As Bad As It Seems

It still feels like things are happening to us rather than because we want them to. There are people, creatures, more powerful than any of us and I think it best to just leave them be and not cross them. You can't achieve your goals if you're dead after all.

The more I think about it, the more I feel like things are better now than they were yesterday. It sounds cruel. I don't like what happened and would rather that no one had to suffer as much as they have and are still doing. But all in all, if we are careful and play it smart, a lot of good might come from this horrible situation.

The guard believe us to be the heroes and the rest of the city as well
We know more about our "enemy" than ever before
Arms can be fixed quite easily
We still have lots of money

If anyone finds out we lied, we're fucked
If we cross Martin, we die
If we hunt E, we might die
All of the above could be prevented, if the others could just let it go. But I know them.
They won't.
