    (The journal starts off with a doodle of the morning with Sef on Xanth's back, though the sketch of Sef has a head of long messy hair.)
     
    -Spooky lights at the burial mound at night
    -Orcs attacking in the day along the woods
    -Not a safe place to be
     
    (On the left is list of all the quests the group has taken, the ones that didn't involve underground peril circled. Next to the list on the right is a series of crossed out factors written hastily; an attempt to puzzle out how to avoid subterranean situations. Among the crossed out ideas is the word "NOISE" unmarked, underlined several times.)
     
    -New Mantra: No bird's song? Move along
     
    -Ask at Lionshield for chitin or carapace armor.
    -Ask Eethyl IF NECESSARY to help fashion new armor.
     
    -Remember to give paper signed by Tibor to someone else. Not up for Harbin. Or Treason.
     
    -Traveler's clothes fit well. Place to wash sweaty dirty sand covered set of clothes?
    ::See if Toblen has any proprietary ideas for such a service.
    ::Maybe a room with lots of wash buckets and ringers
    ::With indoor clothes lines so things could drip dry even if it's raining outside.
    ::And some chairs, or a bench, or just a waterproof mat, where someone could sit and launder their clothes in peace.
    ::A Laundering Room, or Bench, or Mat. Something like that. Let Tobes work on it.
     
    -Will people stop suggesting combs and picking twigs off me now that my hair is washed?
    ::Always lopsided when I do it myself. Still need to ask Wolf or Sef to braid it for me.
    ::Figure out what kind of magic was in that impractical, vain, stupidly expensive, materialistic, beautiful comb at the shoppe

    Druidcraft my problems away
     
    -Eethyl calm at first encounter with bugs, calm with Tibor, real upset by Totems.
    ::Purpose/Intent vs Outcome
    -Wolfaen real good with that crossbow.
    ::Practicing when we're not watching?
    -Saw Sef try to get to top of ledge. Never saw her make it.
    ::Secretly injured and not telling us? Watch her.
     
    TO DO:
     
    -Get dragon slaying sword for someone in the group to wield. Wolfie good candidate?
    -Meet with Reidoth. Confirm he didn't make totems.
    -Get info on Venomfang.
