Journal entry burned -

We're all okay. Everyone is together again. It's nice.
Back in town Wolfaen was able to sneak that rod into my bag without me knowing. Reasonable to assume at any point he could have swiped this journal. Suppose anyone could have actually.
Best to write in code from now on.

Met up with Red Man at a big burned tree. Nothing would grow there. I'll go back at some point to try to help the area. There were little dolls. We saw more at the large building today but they weren't quite the same. One at the tree had a boar's heart within. Red Man gave them to Weaver. They felt off. Rather we burn them. Not my decision.
That night a beast attacked us. Defended itself with a visual shift. Buried now but missing a tooth thanks to Light.
This morning as we approached the large building we spoke at length on what to do. Weaver gave us stones and we threw them at suspicious boars. One shifted out of its animal form and into a half-orc Kin. A "Talos" worshiping Kin muddying the gift. Despicable. Unbalanced.
I will remember to breathe.
Muddy Kin attacked with lightning. I nearly passed out from the pain. I need to learn how to better take or negate that type of hit. Other boars shifted. Some remained; collateral. Wind Walker took care of the last of them and Light returned much of my strength.
Rather than wasting time with more talk, Red Man entered the large building alone. I stayed in the trees. He drew out strange twig dolls unlike the ones we saw before. These were adorned. In my mind they had our appearance. If that was the intention I can't say. It's unnerving if so.
When the new dolls were destroyed Red Man went back inside, drawing attention from more enemies. There were too many. We didn't run. All fought admirably. I spelled Chief to aid him, and he was able to take out several. One who called himself "Grannock" brought them back. I'm not sure what magic he called upon, be it healing or necromancy, but it seemed abominable.
I will control my anger. I will breathe.
Weaver passed out briefly, Chief was immobile for a few seconds, Light and Red Man and Wind Walker all seemed to be tangled in vines at a point. But the gift of radiance killed "Grannock," and then most danger seemed to vanish.
I thought we were going to die.
But we're all okay. Everyone is together again.
It's nice.
