Yakim Family

The Yakim Family, or House Yakim, founded by Olim the Shipwright, are the historic rulers of Cint and Oshgun Castle. They are the Grand Vizier of the Kingdom of Cinder. Formally known as the Citran Viziers before becoming the Grand Vizier of Cinder.

Notable Members

Founder

• Olim the Shipwright -- 783 - 866 -- Founded the family in 872 when he began building the city of Cint around his famous shipyard and growing docks area on the north east of the Sea of Teeth. He also built Oshgun Castle, the families seat of power for centuries.

Cintran Viziers

• Hannah the Expander -- ??? - 1004 -- Cintran Vizier from 962 - 1004, during her reign she waged the Wars of Lost Enchantment, the series of expantion wars that, while being victorious and gaining a bit of land for the city, led to the Yakim Family losing their collection of enchanted items, all except Spirit Viper.

Grand Viziers of Cinder

• Rithan II Yakim -- 1058 - 1136 -- Founded the Kingdom of Cinder and became the first Grand Vizier in 1081.


• Almed I Yakim -- ??? - 1178 -- Ruler of the kingdom during the Basilisk Plague that began in 1177. He contracted Scale Rot after his daughter, Nakis Yakim, returned from fighting a group of basilisks. He died of the disease in 1178, passing the title to his second son Olim IV Yakim.


• Olim IV Yakim -- ??? - 1199 -- Oversaw the end of the Basilisk Plague in 1180.


• Lebon I Yakim -- ??? - 1248 -- Ruler and rider of the red dragon Valerant during the War of Flying Horses who gave the descision that lea to the start of the conflict. He gave the first official sentence for a Broken Life to Vilk Naifesh after the hostilities of the war, a sentence that involves cutting the limbs with Spirit Viper and leaving the victim as a parapalegic.


• Hannah II Yakim -- ??? - 1374 -- Ruler during the Istbanian Border War and dragonrider of the violet Lokshmi. During the war she lost her dragon and the use of her right leg; however, despite this she went on the win the war in a full route of the Istbanian forces.

Order Of Maji

• Jikx the Murderer -- ??? - 896 -- was an Iron Maji of the Order of Maji, from the late 800's, who was executed by the Order for heinous crimes in 896. He gained his name when mentally controlled several members of the Order and forced them to imbue a series of weapons and objects, often the subject of imbument would be another person. Through them being imbuers, imbument subjects, or test subjects, Jikx killed 22 people.


• Lin the Sanctum Thief -- ~900 -- Committed the robbery known as the Shadow in Sanctum's Night where she stole all of the enchanted weapons created by Jikx the Murderer to be repurposed as Yakim Family heirlooms.

Grey Wind Company

• Favil Yakim -- ??? - 1331 -- Was the Lord Commander of the Grey Wind Company from 1313 to 1331.

Other Members

• Nakis Yakim -- ??? - 1177 -- First daughter of Almed I Yakim and a patient zero for the Basilisk Plague in Cinder after he contracted the disease fighting basilisks in the farmlands south of the Ketyat Mountaints.

• Spiritviper -- Enchanted spear and The Weapon of Station for the Family and the Grand Vizier of the Kingdom of Cinder. Was created by Jikx the Murderer in the late 800's and has the ability to sever a person's ability to use thier limbs by cutting the life force to that part of the body.
