The Azul Palace
The Azul Palace is a place close to the plane of water. The nobility here thrives off keeping the waters around the palace safe from incursion, and instead gain tribute from traders and nearby governments. Home of the infamous Turok-Kar.
The palace has long been home to the genie Calypso, the Seeker, who was banished from the Plane of Water for her infidelities and coniving against the noble genies there. She took several centuries to build this palace. Most enter from the whirlpool slowly churning at the top of the palace. A spiral staircase of coral and stone leads down into the grand palace entrance.
Architecture
A massive double door made of what looks like fogged crystal is trimmed by a coral door frame. Within, a grand blue and gold carpet fills the pillared white marble hallway that breaks out into several curved and organically shaped hallways. The sound of running water is constant. Water features like walls made into waterfalls, or trickling layered pools are consistent throughout the palace. Glass ceilings and regular windows allow visitors to bask in the ocean that surrounds the whole palace.
Guards, both construct and humanoid are regularly posted around the palace. The grand banquet hall is where Calypso finds herself regularly. Tables lined up in front of her dais are regularly filled with the most lavish seafoods, emulating the various fish based dishes that exist all over ardicil. On the gilded dais itself, lies display cases and perches for the artifacts the Marid wishes to boast about regularly.
