Searing Smite

 

Effects

Apply a marker to yourself that allows you to use the Searing Smite bonus action for three turns, with the following conditions.   On a successful melee attack; spend a bonus action for the target to take 2d6+Mastery additional fire damage. The target makes a dex save vs your casting modifier; on a failed save they take 1d6 additional fire damage each round for 2 rounds.   This ability is not triggered by Attack of Opportunity.   Players can set up a smite as their one buff during the pre-buff round of combat.
