Wrathful Smite
Effects
As a bonus action, charge your weapon with a Wrathful Smite for 3 turns. Upon striking a target, gain the ability to unleash your Smite as a bonus action. Unleashing your smite in this way forces the target to take 2d6+Mastery additional Psychic damage. The target makes a wisdom save versus your casting modifier; on a failed save they are frightened for 2 rounds. This ability is not triggered by Attack of Opportunity. Players can set up a smite as their one buff during the pre-buff round of combat.
