Wyngate Forest
The dark and dangerous Wyngate Forest has always teemed with goblins, worgs, and other dark creatures, though in recent years it has been considered to be mostly tamed. Wyngate's name comes from the "Winter Gate" that was once open in the forest, connecting an underground cave in the forest to the Feydark. The gate had been closed since the Fey withdrew from the isles, but recent reports suggest that the connection to the Feydark may once again be active. It is believed that the goblins that now operate in the forest are from the Feydark, sent out to expand and conquer the territories. At first the threat was limited to villages near the forest reporting livestock and woodsmen missing, but now there is a full-blown infestation in the forest.
Under the leadership of the halfling Great Druid Wemry Pimhorn, troops sent by the High Queen wage war against the goblins to deter any further spread.
