Glanmoor

Glanmoor, the largest island in the Moontide Isles, is the home of High Queen Aislinn Dunaid, ruler of House Dunaid, which united the Daoine and the Northlanders into a single nation. Before the alliance that brought the Daoine and the Northlanders together under one banner, Glanmoor was a divided island. The lands to the south of the Fairheight Range were occupied by Daoine settlements, while the rougher northern lands were occupied by Northlander settlements. Since the alliance, Glanmoor has integrated the two peoples more than any other of the islands and its culture is quickly becoming a mix of the two.   However, despite this unity of the two human peoples of the Moontide Islands, not all of Glanmoor is under the control of the High Queen. Dark Fey from the Feywild occupy the center of Wyngate Forest and pose threat to any who would trespass and their dark glamours have affected many of the forests denizens, including the goblin tribes that reside in the wood. Giants have always roamed the mountains and threaten any who would near their domain and in recent months the dwarves who live under the mountains have reported sightings of Formorians returning to the mountains. And, finally, Caer Ceredig has always had an open port and has always welcomed explorers and tradespeople from the mainland, but since the Oleander Throne's attempted invasion, many outlanders are once again regarded with high suspicion.
