Armor Mod Types

Armor Mods serve as crucial components in customizing and fortifying player's Armor pieces. These Mods can be strategically attached, provided they are compatible with the Armor's Class (Light, Medium, or Heavy) and Type (Head, Arms, Chest, Back, Legs).   Players can strategically select and combine Armor with various Mods based on their preferred playstyle, mission objectives, and the specific challenges they anticipate to create an optimized defensive configuration for various scenarios. Each Armor Mod category brings unique benefits, catering to diverse playstyles and tactical preferences.  

Plating

Reduces Durability loss. Increases resistance against Ballistic damage.  

Utility

Bonuses to non-combat aspects including as Inventory capacity, movement speed, or Ability cooldowns.  

Shielding

Reinforces Overshield maximum SP and regeneration speed.  

Mobility

Emphasizes agility and movement bonuses to sprint speed, Dodge cooldown, jump height, and other movement skills.  

Vitality

Increases maximum Health, applies HP regeneration, and HP damage resistance.  

Adaptation

Improves resistances to various Elemental Damage types and increases Elemental Shields.  

Coating

Enhances stealth capabilities by improving Cloaking time and Radar detection.  

Absorption

Mitigates and reduces Melee damage taken.  

Insulation

Improves resistance to status effects and Debuffs, environmental hazards, and enemy abilities.  

Sensor

Enhances situational awareness by improving Radar functionality, enemy detection, and other information-based Skills.  

Dampeners

Reduces Force damage and increases Stance.  

Filters

Reduces the impact of recoil and weapon sway, improves weapon accuracy and handling speed.  

Power

Augments various battlefield factors including Battery charge reduction, Ability cooldown reduction, or increased Overdrive gain, and more.
