Fallup Side
Smoke billows from the top of factory stacks, blocking Periton's northern skyline. A transport filled with guns is stopped by thugs, only for money to exchange hands. Thousands of workers walk through the street to their factories, resigned to another hard day's work.
Filled to brim with factories, workshops and refineries, the Fallup Side is Periton's Industrial district. The harsher times that many fell under during the Tumult had seen a massive rise in workers willing to brave the harsh working environments of the factories Many of Peritons industries get their supplies from the district, such as the components of Clockwork technology, Steam tech and the fuel to power them. Corporations bid over the rights to own these production buildings. Yet those who live within the district are often caught up in the rapid construction and repurposing of new factories. This has resulted in the multitude of minor gangs that have been formed in the area, some of which are eco-terrorists that abhor the effects that the factories have brought onto the people of Fallup Side, while others are only it for the valuable profits. The most prominent of which are The Merchants. A group that has made a name supplying other groups throughout the city with weapons and equipment that no doubt are stolen from the districts many sources.
