Korre
Korre are mountain dwelling quadrupedal keratoplexan herbivores native to Volenar. These herds are one of the staple food sources of the interior ejdehan tribes. Korre are nimble and aggressive, standing 130 cm at the shoulder. They are covered in a double coat of fine, insulating feathers, except for their feet, varying in color from white to dark brown, depending on the season.
Like most keratoplexans, they have a functioning dorsal keratoplex composed of two mobile spine like apendages that are a meter in length when fully extended. They use these limbs to assist with climbing and fighting. Aside from these spiny limbs, they have a pair of horns that emerge from their temporal surface and jut forward above their eyes. These are used to stab and slash.
