Erestia
Very often refferred to by its common name, these long broken and shattered chain of islands used to be a part of Taldoria along a long curl of the landmass. With a great cataclysmic event that tore open the world with the newly found magic, these island shifted outwards, crushing the land in places, raising land from the depths, and utterly destroying and changing the south-western edge of Taldoria forever, the Shattered Isles remain as a reminder of both the wonders and terrors of magic on Te'za.
Geography
Long chains of winding islands that stretch upwards along smooth, jagged, and sharp coastlines of varying degrees. Some islands seem to shift constantly with volcanic and geologic activity, while others remain fixed and locked in place. The vast variety of landmasses within the islands make for a great story for many adventurous spirits and pirates that frequent the area for its ripe trading routes and plentiful sources of monetary value.
Fauna & Flora
The flora here is not as varied as those within Balvenya, but there is certainly a large abundance of rare and exotic plants here. Many are used in high profile potions, poisons, and other chemical creations that span the continents. Some of them however require a bit of creativity, right conditions, or just pure bravery to gather.
The creatures here on land are rather tame. Smaller beasts of varying design, but they mostly keep to their islands and to themselves. The skies and the seas however are some of the most violent and deadly in the world. The straight of Shei'lathon specifically, otherwise known as the Sea of Teeth, is here and is home to the some of the most terrifying creatures to stalk the sea. Sailors hold numerous tales of creatures here both vast and small.
Natural Resources
Natural resources here are abundant in terms of amount. Some islands hold heavy quantities of ores of all kinds, even mythril, while others hold vast quantities of plants and flora that are heavily used the world over. The problem is knowing where they are, and extracting them from the normally dangerous locations.
