Tag'enal, The Underplane

The veritable underworld of Te'za. Not in the sense of demons and other ghastly entities from other planes, but in the downwards sense. Much of the huge planet is unexplored pockets of terrain far beneath the rocks and earth. Long spiraling chasms and corridors that exist merely only in fantasy stories or imaginations of those above the surface. While those below, know full well the dangers, horrors, and creatures that dwell here.

Geography

The vast variety of terrain within the world below lies in its unique geographies. There is no sky here, only ceilings of mushrooms and other glowing effects. While beautiful, it is also dangerous. The great differences of broken volcanic underworld that resemble hellish landscapes, to curling caves of glowing lights, and even cities under the earth, some abandoned or not. There is a wide varying topography that shifts near each continent above.

Fauna & Flora

The flora here is something of wonder. Plants found nowhere else in the world, but vastly numerous and billowing in huge quantities all within the world below. Spread out over vast distances, these floral and fungal varieties of life exist at certain levels within the cave systems, not in locations.    The animals here however are those of nightmares. While dragons, dinosaurs, and other creatures above are equally dangerous, the caverns below are wholly unknown to most. Making many of these creatures foreign, alien, and hard to read to know their defenses or weaknesses. Worst of all is the other sentient life that exists, if there is any.

Natural Resources

Arguably more numerous ore deposits than those above the surface, with other unique minerals and other things below the surface that make it a prosperous area. Chains of cities trading below exist in some areas.
