Organization fighting corruption top entries

Hello again, dear visitor. As you might have noticed, I have recently been promoted from head librarian to judge and sponsor! While time has been finicky on my end, I still managed to perform my duty and read every single entry submitted. Before presenting the cream of the crop, let me tell you a bit of my method.

First, I wanted to read as much entries as possible, with no initial sort. Then, I divided my notation between 5 categories. For each one, I would ask myself several questions and give out a note out of 5. Thus, the best score possible would be 25, and the worst 5. Out of the 171 entries, 12 were disqualified.

Creativity

  • Is the concept presented original or unexpected?
  • How well does it twist the prompt?
  • Compared to similar concepts, how well does it detach itself?
  • Content

  • Is the language correct (no typo or spelling mistakes,...)?
  • Is it well-written and interesting to read?
  • Is the concept presented believable and connected to its world?
  •

    Flow

  • Does it feel like the author is guiding the reader well?
  • Do I want to skip some parts?
  • Are the different sections ordered in a way that makes sense,
  • Presentation

  • Is the article pleasing visually?
  • Are there some formatting efforts or is it a wall of text?
  • Are there images, quotes or something other than raw information?
  •

    Subjectivity

This last note is the hardest to quantify. It is about the little something that made me like the article for a reason not explored by the previous categories. A peculiar feeling I felt while reading, its overall mood, or simply something that touched me in some way. I want to insist that I only regarded here the articles, and not my relation to the authors behind them here. Over the years, I've met a fair share of anvilites that I like to call friends, thus while I can't say that I am completely unbiased, I tried to treat everyone fairly regardless of my relation to them.

Now, without any further ado, let's get to the list. Below are, in no particular order, all the entries that scored 20/25 or more. 23 of them made the cut! The winner is among them, but I invite you to check them all, for they are all fantastic submissions. Once I get back from my conference, I will craft a shiny badge for all of them to display (an owl of quality, if you will).
