Norður Islands (ˈnoːɹʊɹ ˈaɪ̯ləndz)
The Norður Islands are a group of islands in the Northeastern Region of the Great Ring. The largest island in the group is Eyju. The archipelago is broken into three smaller island groups: Eyjaskeggjaheim, Volksland, and Kotimaa.
Eyjaskeggjaheim comprises the northernmost section and is the home of the Eyjamaður people. To the south and east is Volksland, which is inhabited by several closely related ethnicities who all share the Inselsprach language. And finally, in the southwest is Kotimaa, where the Saarelainen people live.
Geography
The Norður Islands stretch from Eyju in the north to Selig in the south, and from the Vestaeyjar in the west to Slesvig in the east.
