Felsoren is a town located in the temperate forest, where the vegetation is thick. Felsoren grew around a road that passes through the forests, and is comprised mostly of elves, with some gnomes. They are a patriarchal capitalist autocratic absolute monarchy that worships many deities, but mainly worships Silva and Sagittarius.
A population of 5060, the denizens live a wealthy existence.

Government

The people of Felsoren work in exchange for payment from their employers, which they use to buy the necessities. The King is the supreme ruler, and all laws and affairs are governed by the crown's will.
There's a decent guard presence, and citizens know better than to step out of line, as The Felsoren Proof Readers are armed. Despite this, brutality is rare, and citizens with nothing to hide have nothing to fear. Law in Felsoren is very much punitive based, and those that breach the laws can expect hard labour, incarceration, or sometimes public execution. Crime is an ugly stain on humanity, to be punished. Magic is not codified into the laws as anything specific, though the local guards would be more likely to treat it as a threat rather than not.

Industry & Trade

Caveat emptor is the guiding philosophy of Felsoren, and people live a wealthy existence because of it. Without any taxes or regulations, the free market reigns supreme here. Welfare is below average. Citizens are largely left to their own fate except in extreme cases. Healthcare is neglected, and education is an afterthought. Most citizens would have better luck from private benefactors or the church than relying on the government.
