From looking off-shore you can see many ruined stone structures that are scattered across the islands. It is assumed that these are remains of constructions from the Dawn Times, likely built by the Ancient Dwarves or Ancient Elves. Those who have managed to land on the shore and escaped tell tales of hoards of barbaric Kobold charging at them armed with spear and club.
