Xralax System

Star system owned by the Xalarin Council and located in the Aurina Galaxy.
The Xralax system is a binary star system between a neutron star (Xalarax A) and a class F star (Xalarax B). Both stars orbit each other, but at very large radii. This way, most of the planetary systems orbit one or the other star rather than orbiting the center between them. There are a number of potentially habitable (after terraform) worlds orbiting Xralax B, the class F star. Due to this, there are many worlds orbiting both stars, so there are a large amount of resources present. This makes the system very lucrative, including those worlds at very high orbits that are high enough to orbit the center between the stars.
These are, however, mostly dwarf planets and a single ice giant. This part of the system is less valuable but still exploited. As it is a largely overlooked region of any star system, the XC placed a lot of shipyards here. To prevent blockades, all shipyards have surrounding mines providing a good redundancy in case some fall. There are some several thousand of these shipyards in these areas. There are also a lot of defence platforms hidden in asteroids. All this combined would make the system nearly impossible to assault.
