Criminal element

We were able to track down the thieves who were harassing the street performers. Chizire was really helpful as was Leo- seemingly his new chime ringer boyfriend. Cute couple. We captured one of them, seemingly the weakest and least dangerous, and Ruin managed to kill another once i was knocked unconscious...again. One of them unfortunately got away- the bully he called himself. I don't like that one getting away, I know what evil looks like when I see it and some people really need to die. What concerns me is the fate of their leader- Reth, the one the artist had a bizarre crush on. While we were in combat with the others someone broke into their hideout and killed Reth efficiently, silently and brutally. They showed clear signs of professional skill including almost completely clearing up signs of their travel, the only reason we have any notion of who was here is the left behind lockpick matching the make of the animal break out incident. This means the perpetrator is likely working on behalf of frogs legs, the Grippli crime boss, it is a little concerning that frogs legs agent attacked at the same time we did, but the one we captured seemed to be expecting trouble. It makes sense that the crime boss would respond to the group, their crimes were very attention grabbing, as our notice and investigation indicates, and their documents indicate they were pulling in a lot more gold than they could get away with without upsetting whatever organization frogs legs belongs too. All in all we have a good grasp on what happened but I am somewhat concerned we may be garnering the attention of these people given that this isnt the first time we have interfered with their plans, we discovered their involvement with the animal release and with the magic powder incident. Still, even if we do need to meet these creatures in battle soon, I think we should enjoy the time we have free before we are needed again. I have asked Ruin on a second date, although I am slightly concerned by the extent of her desire to do crime during it.
