New Homes New Faces

So much happened today. I managed to fill an entire page with just the entrance exam. Once we passed a lovely young woman named Esi Djana showed us around the dorm and introduced us to some of the other students. Esi seemed to be a keen worker and very friendly, so I was glad to have her gor a guide. Some of the other guests were...interesting. Chizire in particular actually introduced himself by offering to share wine with us! Naturally i considered that very forward and refused...but i should get used to that sort of thing, I always knew people would think differently outside of the Nine Walls. I suppose the school is a safer place to dull the senses. Anchor root seemed very shy, and I suppose Ignaci seemed...entrepreneurial. M'olivia seemed very taken with Anchor, perhaps she is just looking for friends, she certainly seems to cling to ruin tightly. I confess i didn't get much of a read on ignaci. I get the sense Esi has taken on something of a caretaker role, but based on the state of her room its one of many roles she is new to inhabit, and there seems to be a friendly rivalry of sorts between her and Chizire.
 
I claimed a room for myself as did the others. I chose a smaller room because to be honest i don't expect to be spending much time here doing anytbing other than studying, writing or reading. I found other areas of the school more interesting, The frog pond seems like a good place o relax and talk about things...maybe thats a good place to try to get Illiara to acknowledge the dream we shared...it seems important. But thats an issue for another time.
More interesting to me is the spire. It seems a wonderful place to spar or even just exercise. I would have made more use of it last night, but i felt i should give ruin some space.
 
ahh yes... Ruin and Illiara do not seem to get on well at all. I haven't missed the condesension and passive agression Illiara directs at her (another reason i know she remembers the dream) but Ruin's anger seems like more severe of a potential problem... I feel bad actually ordering her not to get physically violent, she seems to resent being ordered. Still, better to act pre emptively, and i can always make up for my rudeness later. I might have to talk to Illiara at some point about team playing as well, not tonight though. tonight im going to relax.
 
Speaking of relaxation the baths are very comfortable. The western ones are anyway. Malnar and Illiara seem like they are going to use the east? perhaps they are more physically modest and want to make sure no one sees them, well I'm glad the dorms have the facilities to give them privacy. Although we had to have a wrestling match with a couple of spellskeins to make it happen.
I also managed to get my sword upgraded at the in school store, and sample some of the delicious food available here, although for now im minimising experimentation in favour of eating what I know is goof for my routine. I'll get more adventurous as we go.
 
and then there is the matter of the team name... It feels significant that we all got here at the same time and will e put into a team for our work in the community...
but I have no idea how to express that in a name.... maybe Makumi should be consulted, she was very quiet after the entrance exam.
