    After the passing of one year, the two remaining races of the new dimensional world change. Dwarves turn to their dead for guidance. Orcs become a migrant race and start the search for their vanished gods.

    The Crystal Wardens

    The Elderin create a formal order by the name of The Crystal Wardens and send them to oversee the Voidwake. The first village is formed inside the wake and permanently inhabited by the Elderin.

    The birth of the Tainted
    Life, Birth

    After continuous exposure to the corrupting void magic, the Elderin's of The Crystal Wardens in the Voidwake begin to display drastic physical and mental changes, and are cut off from their mastery of nature magic. Their skin color changes to greyish tones, ranging from purple to blue, light to dark, same with their hair. Their horns turn into more crooked looking antlers. Their eyes turn golden and silver. Most of them show Vertigo like markings of their skin in a brighter hue, caused by the exposure to the void as an embryo.
    They are from now on known as the Tainted, no longer belonging to the Elderin species.

    The 1st Opening

    The 1st portal opens in Aerion, a one way ticket into this pocket dimension from an unknown source.
    A small army of Humans came through the gate, mostly military trained. Being stuck in this new world they started to establish a foothold which is later to be known as Valderin's Gate , the first ever City of Aerion and the later capital of Ederaa (political).

    Ederaan priests begin to have doubts their prayers will ever be answered again, start researching and practising other methods of healing and miracles, which leads into the first contact of Humans with voidmagic.

    The spread of the Void

    Early experiments of priest with the void magic causes acres of land around the area later to be known as the Everchanging Forest to become uninhabitable, slowly spreading outward.

    Hunt for resources
    Founding

    Golden Hollow and Copper Oak Dale are settled to make use of the immense sources for food and copper for the growing population of Ederaa (political).

    Humans and Dwarves make contact
    Discovery, Exploration

    The Ederaan and the Hlífjall(political) Dwarves meet for the first time in Ederaa. The contact is shaky in the beginning. Both sides act with caution.

    Ederaan and Hlífjall peace treaty
    Diplomatic action

    Trade agreements are brokered, negotiations are conducted, and eventually, a lasting peace treaty is established between the leader’s of Ederaa (political) and Hlífjall (political), which has held to modern times. Aeroch Nor is settled by human citizens in a separate district to pool manpower and share resources.

    People living in the eastern outskirts of Ederaa start to have disagreements with their king on laws and taxation and move across the river to have a new start.

    A loose collection of town leaders forms the Council of Rhondam and declares Rhondam (political) its independence from Ederaa (political).

    After a century of silence a 2nd portal opens in Valderin's Gate , surprising the locals and king. A new group of Humans cross over into the world of Aerion. After some time of adjustment, they start to look for their place in the land, most of them ending up in the newly founded Rhondam .

    The first annual fishing festival of Broadton is conducted, originally a one-time bet made between two prospective clan leaders, it was soon embraced as a hearty tradition of the townspeople.

    The city of Freecrossing is establishes as a buffer between Rhondam and the orcish hordes found in the swamps north of the mountains.

    A 3rd portal opens in Valderin's Gate, this time the opening was awaited by the citizens. The arriving people are a smaller group, consisting mostly of Human researchers and librarians.

    Build as repository for knowledge in Ederaa, the Eternal Archives are located deep inside the mountains in the north, hidden from unwanted attention and unknown to most for its own safekeeping.

    The 4th opening

    A 4th portal opens in Valderin's Gate, but this time no Humans cross the barrier. With the arrival of the first Elves in Aerion things where about to take a drastic change. Over the course of the day nearly 32.000 elves entered the world, leaving people in the city baffled.

    Racial divisions between elves and humans
    Population Migration / Travel

    The first group of elves start to act on the racial divisions occurring between Ederaa and them and decide to sail south. On an hidden and unclaimed island not far from Valderin's Gate, they found the "free" city of Coldwater to be left to themselves.   Many of the elves that are left behind are living in slums around the outskirts of Valderin's Gate or in nearby towns, mostly as workforce. Ederaa feels threatened by the sheer amount of them and not many ways of communicating - nobody really knows what to do with this weird situation.

    Elves driven out of Ederaa

    The dispute of humans and elves tightens, not only because of the language barrier and magical abilities, but also because of the shortage of houses and food. The king of Ederaa, Berkan Valderin, banishes the last elves and sends them out into the desert, where they found an old abandoned city which is later rebuilt into Caladh (now known as Queen's Rise).

    War between Ederaa and Cirabaen
    Military action

    Unknown to his father Berkan Valderin and king of Ederaa his wayward son Kaern Valderin tries to siege and claim the elven city of Caladh (now known as Queen's Rise as a sign of his strength and right to the throne. He dies during the attack and Ederaa sufferers an humiliating defeat of a war they didn't even know about. Caladh is from now on known as King's Fall.
    Out of vengeance King Berkan Valderin, angry and saddened by his sons actions and passing, declares war on Cirabaen, which will last for 3 years.   Read more: The war between Ederaa and Cirabaen

    The Sanguine Order was founded

    After the end of the war between Ederaa and Cirabaen Queen Deanna Valderin founded the (secret) Sanguine Order, to help to protect Ederaa (political) from any future threats, especially magical ones.

    Cirabaen establishes a Magocracy

    Archmage and King of Cirabaen Myddin Aldanae establishes a Magocracy - a government lead by highly magically gifted elves called the Lodge of the Seven.

    Cirabaen expand eastwards

    Cirabaen starts expanding east to put some distance between themselves and Ederaa. The first contact with the seemingly otherworldly region of the Azuremist was made. A makeshift tavern in build to let scouts and utility caravans rest up, later known as the Runestone Tavern.

    Gwynfire is founded
    Founding

    Gwynfire is established, originally to be a replacement capital for Queen's Rise, to move it away from Ederaa, but tensions never escalated again. The Lodge of the Seven now reside there, as well as the Arcane Academy.

    Cirabaen claims the Fenglades

    As a result of the expansion of the elves, most of the savage Orcs are pushed out of the Fenglades into north, a region now known as Gro Serrak. One clan, the Fen Orcs, remained unknown to the elves for longer than a century, hiding behind a cave system of the Misty Falls.

    Founding of Lion's Marsh
    Founding

    A small town is settled in the swamps on the outskirts of Cirabaen, and within the month is plagued by a hydra. An unknown ranger gives up his life attempting to save the settlement. His lion survives to finish off the beast, and the town is renamed to Lion's Marsh to honor the noble creature.

    Cirabaen and Rhondam meet
    Diplomatic action

    After years of establishing a foothold in the swamps, Ciraen Elves make contact with the growing city of Freecrossing. Vary of the humans after the War between Ederaa and Cirabaen. The first meetings are cold, careful and calculated, but rather soon than later the elves warm up to the people of Rhondam and start to trust them. In the same year a non-attack pact is singed between the two races and a group of Cireans settle on the swamp side of the ravine in Freecrossing.

    Peace between Cirabaen and Rhondam

    On the 10 year anniversary of their meeting and the signing of a non-attack pact, the two factions officially sign a peace treaty. A bridge is build in Freecrossing between the two districts to connect the races and enable the future sharing of knowledge, resources and freedom.

    Cultural event

    Freecrossing is officially fully united under the same banner when two half-elves, born in each district, marry and share the leadership of the growing metropolis. Flags of both races are presented on both sides of the cities walls.

    Fen Orc Clan finds their new home
    Life, Relocation

    After the war with Cirabaen, the elves were very vary about anyone behind their borders. After finding out the existence of the Fen Orcs, they came to an agreement for them to move out the Fenglade and relocate into Rhondam, where they were welcomed with open arms. The settlement of Kragspeak was founded, which became their new home where they could live in the open for the first time in more than a century, without any fear.
