The Waters of Life

Conjured and upheld by a group of wizards known as the Afonwrion Veer, the waters around Gwynfire nourish not only the city, but also its surroundings - everything is build upon them. Being part of the Avanir is not considered a simple profession, but one of the highest privileges and honor an Elf can be granted.

Magical Teachings

There is one place every master wizard and sorceress once called their home during their education - the Arcane Academy of Gwynfire. No second place in all of Aerion teaches its students how to shape the raw magic inside one's own veins into not only magic, but wonders. Most enlisted are highly gifted, many of them born inside the Azuremist, infusing their blood with even stronger powers, and spent most of their lives learning how to tame, control and use their skills and talents. Many spells originated and were honed for years inside these walls, before they were written down, stored and shared inside the Sunspire.

The Lodge of the Seven

Inside the highest and seven sided tower of the Arcane Academy, Cirabaen’s Magocracy serves as the ruling body and also high court, known as the Lodge of the Seven. Tribunals are held inside the Chamber of Reflection, a mirror dome roofed room with a single crystal basin in its center. Any person staring inside its waters reflects their memories upon the ceiling for everyone to be witnessed. Any other magic is suppressed by Vorium (Mineral) crystals, so the viewing can not be tempered with.
