Race Information

Few would think orcs could get much worse than they already are, though fewer still have met a Tanarukk. Tainted with chaotic energies from the abyss those that dwell within these fierce beings demand a certain primal respect.    

Society

Power Struggles
As with almost all orcs, the Tanarukk value brute strength above all else.  
Assuring Continuance
Tanarukk are far less patriarchal than your average orc. Oftentimes treating their women better than slaves.  
Penchant for Flame
Sharing some similarity with Tieflings in their fire resistant hides, some find a further connection in fire based sorceries.  
Chaos Abundant
Often far less refined and controlled than their distant cousins these abyssal orcs are known to be very aggressive even within their own tribes.  
Rites of Passage
Most tribes saw fit to ritualy scar their young either at important milestones or when they became fully fledged warriors.

A Sight on Sore Eyes
Few would stand the presence of such a being and fewer still would welcome them in, thus their numbers are scattered and distant.  
Demonic Presence
Though not always the case, the presence of new Tanarukk can mean a host of dour things for the locals they exist in.

Pedestal of Might
In general weaker races are looked down upon though a special hatred was reserved for elves.  
Tainted Brethren
Of the few races seen in a neutral or positive light were other fiend touched beings.  
Orcish Allies
Though still not of the same standing Tanarukk would work with orcs and half orcs often seeing them as valuable.    

Physical Qualities

Tanarukk bear a resemblance to full orcs, with skin tones that gravitate towards grayish-green and muted browns. This palette reflects their brutish and formidable nature, grounded in a blend of orcish and demonic ancestries. Their appearance is marked by rugged features, with perhaps slightly sharper teeth, a more pronounced brow, or other subtle indications of their infernal lineage. Despite these intimidating attributes, the coloration of Tanarukk remains relatively subdued, emphasizing their connection to both the orcish tribes and the darker forces from which they draw their power.  
Fierce Intelligence
While still a rather brutish creature Tanarukk exhibit a marginally higher intelligence than your average orc.  
Natural Pyromancy
While not having any innate ability to cast magics these creatures find fire based spells to their liking when the arcane is pursued.
