Session 3: "What Demons Are These?" Report

General Summary

Went away from the burning area to gain a LR.

The Hounds turned into ash upon death. Artain gains a pounch of Hell Hound Ash.

Little Demon comes to party to invite them to meet the Overlord. Party agrees.

Master Cleric Hedez came and arrested Kezias to take him back to Lucis. Hedez seems to liken the party's "collaboration" with the "demons" as a potential source of Wurvblight.

Kaz told Be'llor Stormcaller and Nix to look out for Graham in his absence.

Imp takes the party to the cave.

Party finds prisoners who are food, they work to free them, and manage to persuade 4x imps + Mike-Imp to leave.

Devil offers a deal if the party kills the Beast, in turn the Devil will give the party gains all knowledge on the Beast and one member gains Great Power.

The party rejects his offer and he initiates combat.

The party is able to defeat the Devil, destroying him entirely. Graham lands the finishing blow.

Thubbo and Be'llor gift to Graham a horn of the devil as a souvenir.

Artain suggests and gives Graham the devil's claw, instead, as it is small enough to wear around his neck on a necklace.

The Volunteers Long Rest once more in the cave.

They then travel to the road, heading west. They hunt and take it easy overnight.

They then begin to travel again, heading north.

They encounter some Eladrin and learn of a situation where the Eladrins' village is being raided by another group of Eladrin. The dispute originates from a conflict surrounding a sacred ceremony.

Feylan enlightens the group to the details about this ceremony, that some Wanderers believe that "when it is time", they must perform the ceremony to "return to the Feywild".

The party goes with thes Eladrin to their village. Graham drinks at the behest of Be'llor and Thubbo. Graham defeats Thubbo in an arm wrestling match (Thubbo may have permitted him this victory). Artain attempts to tan some hides (the Devil's Hide and the hide of a bear they killed during a hunt.

The party begins to leave, but they reconsider heading toward Rikgrasz. They believe they may need to investigate this other settlement of raiding Eladrin, and perhaps help end this conflict. Perhaps learn more...

Dreams

The Party experiences two different dreams during this session: That of Dagda and that of Be'llor Stormcaller.

The Party witnesses the day Dagda decided to leave the Circle of Ithil because they failed to help him understand his nightmares.

The Party witnesses the day Be'llor climbed the Great Roc Mountain and caught a storm hawk before being struck by lightning, a sign to the Thunder Tribe that Be'llor had been blessed by the Storm Mother.

Rewards Granted

Artain has a Pouch of Hell Hound Ash.

+714 XP for the Overlord + persuading the imps and rescuing the Eladrin.
