Tiza Lake
The Tiza Lake is a lake located over in the eastern areas of Kasetia and remains one of the largest lakes in the known world. Its largest distance from shore to shore is roughly 150 miles from the north to southern shorelines. As a result of its incredible size, many small islands dot the lake including a particularly sizable one in the centre known as Tizas Heart.
Geography
Tiza has many small islands around the shoreline, though these are more prominent towards the northwest. Tiza is fed by the Morpath River, which in turn is fed into by several smaller streams to create one strong flow of water in the lake. Several small streams from the southwest also feed into the lake, but their significance is relatively limited. The lake has an average depth of about 650 feet (around 200 meters), with its deepest point being in the south where the Morpath River continues towards the ocean. Most of the immediate land around the lake is flat and slightly marshy.
The lake is well regarded as one of the most spectaculars sites to see throughout Kasetia. Many travelers have ventured towards its central island, Tizas Heart, simply to witness the sun rise and set over the pristine waters that surround it.

Ecosystem
The locations of human settlements play a huge part in the ecosystem. Many animals will avoid the larger settlements, rarely ever coming within sight of the humanoids that inhabit them. The lake recieves much of the nutrients needed for the lake to thrive from the Morpath River, which originates further west in the Seper Range. Tiza recieves a high level of sun, ensuring strong levels of plant-growth for most of the year.
The lake is home to a wide range of animals, namely freshwater fish, amphibians, reptiles, insects and even some aquatic mammals.

Conflict over ownership of the waterways has happened multiple times, with many states that were once involved being long gone at this point in history. Much of this occured between Chondan kingdoms, with Nosteria and Ramuni being the only ones left.
Furthermore, the lake remains religiously significant to a number of gods, with Chauntea, Liira, Sune and Torm being notable examples. Less savoury examples include Beshaba, Bhaal and Shar.
