Dingaford
Guild note - this is the official history of Dingaford as known by the locals today. As we in the Guild are aware, Dingaford's presence on Elanora is not natural, and is a recent development of Guildfall. Discussion of this with the locals is only likely to breed trouble. Be watchful, and bring any developments to my attention immedietely - B. Sunfist .
Until 0608, Dingaford was a major trading hub linking Braeland to the northern reaches. The peace and prosperity of the local people were then shattered by what would be known as the Chaplain's Rebellion, an ill-fated attempt by a rogue cleric of Chauntea to install a puppet ruler in the local barony and succeed from Braeland rule. By the time the rebellion was quelled peoples of the local region of Tenston had been rendered mindless, and the townsfolk of Dingaford had either fled or been killed. No lord or baron was ever appointed as a replacement and the entire barony supposedly remains under direct authority of the Braeland crown.
Today, Dingaford is gone, destroyed in the violent rampage of Abal, God of War.
