Councilor
Council members are responsible for matters relating to their district. They are expected to handle all situations within their district, unless another district is also affected.

- Must live in the district they represent
- Must own land in the district they represent
- Cannot be accused of crimes in any district
- Must declare intent to become a Councilor prior to previous councilor resigning/being removed
Appointment
When a previous councilor resigns or is removed, the land owners in that district vote on the next councilor. However, it should be noted that anyone who owns land in that district is able to vote, even if that person does not live in that district. (ex: a person rents a home in the Merchant District and owns a warehouse in the Shipping District . They can vote for the next councilor of the Shipping District but not the Merchant District)
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
Like with The Voice of Ansbridge , it takes a unanimous vote of all other councilors to remove someone from the council. However, once that person is removed, it is possible for that person to become councilor again if that is who the people in that district vote for again. This has never happened, but theoretically could.
