Altar of Lanival

Though it's exact location is known to a staggering few, it is known through various tomes that the Altar of Lanival is located in a rocky grotto somewhere in the Pridelands.  The location of the shrine is a very closely guarded secret, a secret the Centaur peoples of the Pridelands have taken on, as a whole, to defend at all costs, else the unbreakable, God-forged blade find it's way into the wrong hands once more.

The shrine's location is sought by scholars, vagabonds, mercenaries, ne'er-do-wells and even some of the extremely rich of the world, all in hopes of finding it's power and the supposed immortality that is contained within.  

Legends, tales, and rumors abound throughout every tavern, roadside inn, and bar within the whole of Kermoria, with dozens of maps purporting it's location changing hands on a regular basis; the most famous of these probably being the map supposedly held by Kalag the Black, a pawn shop proprietor within the city of Riverhaven.
