Människar

The largest landmass of Mellanvärlden and the great realm that harbors the kingdoms of men. In the days of old, the great Engelian Empire covered this continent up to the Frozen Peak Mountains. Människar is a cold and harsh place, afflicted with severe winters and infested with all sorts of creatures and dangers which mankind has to fight to survive. Människar, in old Engelian, is translated to mankind, the first continent to be inhabited by men in Mellanvärlden, or at least that is the version told around the kingdoms. To the north of the Guardian Peaks live the northerners or Engelian people, as they like calling themselves, who are a hardy, strict and prideful people. To the south, the Sarusians and Umerans are almost opposite of their northern brethren, enjoying art and good food, living in lands of almost permanent fair season and masters of diplomacy. The western coast harbors countless ports and cities, where trade flourishes, while the eastern coast is completely devoid of civilization, as the sea is deemed evil to the east, harboring curses and bringing evil to those who dare set down by the dark waters of the east.
