The Liberation of The North, also known as the Northern Rebellion, was a pivotal period in the history of the region, marking its transition from a subjugated territory of the Numerian Empire to an independent kingdom. This conflict, lasting from mid-317 to late 318, reshaped the political landscape of the continent and gave birth to a new era for the people of The North.
The rebellion was sparked by decades of oppressive rule by the Numerian Empire. High taxes, cultural suppression, and the exploitation of Northern resources had bred deep resentment among the populace. A particularly harsh winter in 316-317 exacerbated food shortages and economic hardships, pushing the people to the brink of open revolt.
