General Summary
Bakerstreet +3, Dargent +2
The Wolf is stirring somewhere.
Blue and orange macaw with Wedding Invitation with a fancy sealed scroll. Sealed with both family’s crests.
Whisper Vote also called on Kronk Greenskin called by Djann Carterhold, using the justification of Felinet Bakerstreet's rumour from before.
Whisper Vote not called on Djann (Richard Dargent doesn’t believe he has the votes to call one on Djann).
Hali Shajara has just called a Whisper Vote on Andromeda Stargazer!
Hali: “Look, Subvizier. I do hate to be the bearer of bad news here. I think you ought to know as much as anyone though.”
[He brings in by the shoulder, a person we haven’t seen before. Nautical-looking woman.]
Pollux Stargazer: “I don’t understand. What is the meaning of this.”
[Hali gives an impressively convincing contrite nod, sad that it had to come to this, gestures to the woman]
Targatis: [scowls and drops her disguise] “Hi there, you can call me Targatis.”
Only the second time in history that a non-human has called a Whisper Vote on a human (other was Fang Ratrider on Glaive Underhand).
Gay Relations
There is a reluctance to Targatis as she is being interrogated by that court. She is not wholly a willing participant. Can see Andromeda has also become crowded.
Andromeda mostly looks impassive as ever. But has gone slightly more ashen-faced as usual. She saw this coming already, recognised Targatis when she walked in in disguise. She is naturally taciturn which hides a lot. A sense of betrayal and shock that has caused her to freeze a little and is able to hide that from the court. Focuses on ring when Targatis drops the illusion.
Andromeda makes an attempt to, after arguing with the people around her that she is being set up. She makes an attempt to dispel the ring on Targatis, which fails and basically everyone noticed that happen.
Hali’s signet ring is similar colour (gold) to Targatis’s – no new rings on anyone else.
Cassilda is also here and has a signet ring that matches Hali’s as well.
Leopold Stargazer CHA 16: Unknown.
Guinevera Dargent CHA18: Unknown.
Paddypaw Ratrider CHA 13: Wants to identify any evidence of misconduct.
Castor Stargazer CHA 14: Jumbled and chaotic right now. Wants an explanation. Doesn’t care whether from his mum or Targatis. He just wants someone to explain. What’s going on? What’s his mother done? Who is this lady? Why is it happening now?
Cobbler Bakerstreet CHA ???: Static (Don’t even get CHA score).
Targatis CHA 18: Obey the ring bearer.
Balthazar Ironside CHA 10: Unknown.
Hali Shajara CHA 17: Unknown.
Pollux Stargazer CHA 13: Defend his family’s honour.
Britomart Ironside CHA 10: Protect Pollux.
Scamp Ratrider CHA 14: Unknown.
Efreeti Friend 1 CHA 15: Unknown.
Efreeti Friend 2 (Slavetaker Froonth) CHA 15: To find a way to escape her bindings, so that she could at that point Plane Shift back to the East Star to attempt to enact vengeance on the Efreeti noble called Kraklyn Blackfire, who is the Efreeti noble that enslaved her and sold her to the humans.
Andromeda was doing it in a way that was harder to catch, and she has been caught as well now. Part of why Castor’s mind is so conflicted and jumbled at the moment is that he is struggling in this high-pressure environment to process the revelation of unfairness. His mother, who treated him being caught with another man as such a major scandal, has now also been caught for the same thing. But worse because she is also a Viziera and not sixteen and married. Castor is struggling to process and respond to a great deal of extremely volatile information that has been dumped on him.
Doesn’t last much longer before he just leaves.
Castor: [In passing to Cassie] “I cannot be here right now.”
Leopold watches him go and chooses not to react.
Castor wouldn’t choose to get rid of his mother. He would choose for her to stay given the choice. But if she were made to leave, in time, and we’re talking a timescale of months, he would probably come to the conclusion that it was actually for the best if she was not here anymore. But it is a conclusion he would only come to after he’d had time to process and get used to and think of the full implications.
If Hugo interfered to get rid of her, and Castor found out, it would lower their relationship (for a few months).

Nightkeepers Banish Quince: Very suspicious.
Jackalslicers Banish Quince: My peaceful lot!
Brasseyes Abstain Quince: But will vote banish if forced to pick.
Bakerstreets Exile Quince: Cobbler suspects there is more to what happened that meets the eye. If forced to pick something, more likely to go for exile than anything else.
Nightkeepers Abstain Kronk: Not convinced by evidence either way. See what other Viziers do. If forced to decide, go with a majority vote. Would probably intervene to stop an Execution, other than that, Bentham’s not sure where he wants to go.
Baharats Forgive Kronk: Because of my parents. Invested in not giving Stargazers 2 votes.
Masons Banish Kronk: Not sure if she’s guilty but think it’s safer to not have her around. Jaq Mason has figured out LCE’s votes, and has figured it’s always a safe bet to vote with LCE. He’s probably going to try to get rid of her.
Brasseyes Forgive Kronk: Tentatively. Wouldn’t vote for it unless there’s enough of a majority to make it a safe vote. They want to go for Forgive, because the amount of research they’ve done, they don’t want to give 2 votes to Stargazers.
Bakerstreet Exile Kronk: Not 100%. Likely to go Exile but may swing Forgive if it looks more popular. Could also be convinced to swing to Banish. Not enough evidence for him to have come down on a definite side, but he’s naturally paranoid, so probably not going to go Forgiveness right away.
Jackalslicers Forgive Kronk: Duh.
Ratriders Exile Kronk: (2 rounds) Reasoning that even the possible connection to the scandal of murdering a vizier is enough that their sense of decorum is that you can’t not have consequences. But given the lack of clear evidence either way, they have concluded that the most proper course of action would be to exile her for the safety of the court but not punish her beyond that. It’s all about decorum.
LCE Abstain Kronk: Figures that Djan probably has best claim to stewardship either way, so it doesn’t really affect his goal. Leaning forgiveness because Djann’s claim is a little stronger if she’s forgiven. But he doesn’t want to be awkward.
Nightkeepers Exile Andromeda.
Masons Exile Andromeda.
Brasseyes Banish Andromeda: If there is enough other people voting banish. History of conflict (Andromeda called vote on Delphi Brasseyes).
Bakerstreets Banish Andromeda: Having spoken to her and figured she has definitely been hiding things.
Baharats Banish Andromeda: Maybe not as cleanly if my parents weren’t leaning on them. It would be a bad look if they didn’t remain consistent.
Hugo: "I would ask that you use your bloodright in a way that it would be most likely to win."
Kronk: "There is honour in stalwartness even when there is not power. Yet there is neither honour nor power in defeat. I think there is wisdom in your council, Katib."
Walks into the centre of the space and gets everyone’s attention.
Buildings and rooms that the court meet in have lamps built into the wall that the Genie are sealed in when they’re not on duty.
All of the genies are purchased from the company by LCE or Balthazar to guard the court. Someone somewhere probably has a receipt of sale.
Slavetaker Froonth: “If you were to free me from these bindings. I would grant you a wish.”
Would cost 150,000 gp for an Efreeti slave
In your language that would be Slavetaker Froonth.

Gay Relations
- Castor and Hugo were not also married; not using our privileged position (Andromeda is using her secret library) to hide our affair.
- But considering me and Castor could have a vote called on us by any Vizer that wishes to do so, and Richard has motive for getting rid of Castor if he can, it may be prudent to avoid setting any precident that my father could use to pressure people.
- Richard could use precident (not same crime) to bully someone into turning on Castor.
- James Baharat's banishment was called by own father. More civilly, but still banished. Was with a commoner.
There is a reluctance to Targatis as she is being interrogated by that court. She is not wholly a willing participant. Can see Andromeda has also become crowded.

Castor's Reaction
Connie gets the impression that Castor did not know about Targatis. It becomes clearer to Castor the details of what his mother has been accused of. This is quite upsetting news to Castor that he was not mentally or emotionally prepared for. This woman has treated him very poorly for his proclivities. He was taking it for granted that she did not and could not understand and this is the first he has been given any indication that she understood what he was, she just didn’t approve of his conduct anyway.Andromeda was doing it in a way that was harder to catch, and she has been caught as well now. Part of why Castor’s mind is so conflicted and jumbled at the moment is that he is struggling in this high-pressure environment to process the revelation of unfairness. Walks into the centre of the space and gets everyone’s attention.
"For those whose conversations my will may have relevance to, it may be prudent to know I have no interest in ze personal stewardship of this child Gast’s vote. By my reckoning, and my intent, as heir of Saladin, conqueror of the late Jafar in honourable combat, it is of most honour that the steward have no existing Vizierdom. And on this ground, I would renounce all claim save the right to contend for whomever this child’s closest, non-Vizier relative may be. [turns to LCE] I trust there shall be found sufficient records to identify such a figure."Kronk's Rescission Address to the CourtDjann smiles very slightly – we’ll see how this goes.
