Poseintis
Waving green shoots bend with the current, waiting to be harvested by their kelp farmers.
Poseintis, the resplendent city-kingdom of the Tritons, is a testament to the indomitable spirit of its inhabitants. Nestled within the depths of the Wispy Sea, Poseintis is a marvel of both architectural ingenuity and magical craftsmanship. The Tritons, a tenacious and enduring people, have forged a thriving kingdom in the face of the relentless challenges posed by the treacherous waters of Rheiknor.
The city is an intricate network of domed structures and towering spires, constructed from a combination of enchanted coral and magically reinforced crystal. These structures not only withstand the immense pressure of the deep but also shimmer with bioluminescent hues, creating an ethereal glow that permeates the city. Poseintis is divided into districts, each serving a unique purpose. The Grand Bazaar, with its bustling marketplaces, showcases exotic goods from both the depths of the sea and distant lands. The Luminescent Gardens are revered for their beauty and house rare, glowing flora. The Coral Palace, where the ruling Triton king and his Deep Council resides, exemplifies the kingdom's regal might.
The city's architecture is enhanced by powerful protective wards and spells that shield Poseintis from the magical storms and Mist Storm that frequently plague the waters. These magical defenses not only safeguard the Tritons but also serve as a symbol of their mastery over the arcane.
Poseintis is a hub of Triton culture, with grand amphitheaters hosting performances that celebrate their history and victories against the dangers of Rheiknor. The Tritons are known for their elaborate festivals that involve intricate water dances, mesmerizing light displays, and harmonious music played on enchanted shells.
A Deepstone mine filled with untapped treasure.
The city of Poseintis is most well known for its export of Deepstone. A magical material that has innate properties that can enhance the creation of magical items, particularly for items meant to combat incorporeal creatures such as ghosts. It is mined within the deepest depths of the Wispy Sea near Poseintis. The Tritons are the only ones who know the secrets to mining the material and prospecting it, along with the only ones brave and skilled enough to do so. The depths at which they are mined is near fathomless and the creatures that lurk within these depths are truly terrifying to behold. Despite these dangers, Deepstone brings massive boons to the Poseintan economy and trade.
