Vermentino Run
The Vermentino Run is a long valley in eastern Vodacce that runs along the border with Ruskovich. Filled with rich farmland, this area has provided most of Vodacce's wealth. It's common for merchant caravans to travel the Run down to the city of Kastania on the end of the Valor Sea, picking up food and ore from the mines in the area, or starting in Kastania and heading into Eisen.
In recent years, bandits have taken camp in the hills of the Vermentino Run to attack merchant caravans, while leaving the farmsteads alone. The nobility of the area suspect that the bandits have support among the farmsteads, but it's never been proven.
