The Partizans having procured the help of Just Albert and the scout he retrieved from further down the path, named Aurora, stealthily move further in pursuit of the Black Robe expedition. At a night's rest they are approached by the Waldura family who ask them to find out what happened in Boulder.
When the Partizans try to spy on the mining activities of the Derkon, they almost get into a fight with guards, but are saved by two dwarves. These turn out to be the shapeshifters that work for The Black Spider, to whom they are asked to take the Partizans.
After teleporting to the location of General Cristardo, it is learned that both the Colonian command and the Drow are very interested in these lands, the home of the Derkon organisation, because it is loaded with Glowstone Ore. On top of that, since the Black Robes seem to keep showing up alongside the Derkon, they too must have their own interests. It seems there is much to discover here, both in the way this area operates, as in what secrets are involved in the many political dealings going on.
After having landed on the Dark Island and having traveled the first stretch along the coast, the group has woken after terrible rest to the dreary mornings of this horrible place. Especially Randy experiences the nasty side effects of the negative energy of this place and finds himself exhausted more and more each day. Luckily Bilbo has made a good connection to a mixture of Bahamut and Tymora in his dreams, which has shown the group how to make their way relatively safely across these lands. It will be some weeks however before they reach the wizard's tower that is their ultimate goal, and how knows what more misery and danger is waiting along the way.
Having landed on the island last session, today the Scuffling Partizans explore the Dark Island's interior. They start waking up at their campsite, on the southern coast, west of the rocky outcropping. Their night's rest has been troubled by horrible creatures slouching around the area and the general feeling of dread that clings to every inch of the island.
As Randy is waiting for his armor to be finished, and the characters are coming to terms with all the political intrigue and resulting tensions in the city, discoveries are made and contacts contacted.
