Session 18
Dear Dad,
Today wasn't anything too exciting, but the next few days will be, so I might have to keep this short.
It was a pretty lazy day overall, we finished any errands we wanted to run around the city before meeting with the council. They give us a bunch of treasures for the work we completed in the crypts, including a chime of opening that Melecha got and a circlet of fire... or something that I got! Don't worry, it don't start blasting spontaneously and it shouldn't combust or anything. I'm pretty sure at least. But the circlet is so pretty! It's like having a tiara. A powerful fiery tiara. They also gave us the cloak that that weird sorcerer guy wore, some cloak that's special to voidwalkers. Everyone else bickered about who should get it, not knowing if it would give them weird powers or take control of their minds. Xenyria ended up getting it, which I can't say I'm too pleased about. But I'm keeping my distance anyway, so I guess my response to this is to continue being wary of her. I think the name "Void" now suits her better than "Ghost"
Our next task is to finish the next trials. I'm sure the Council told us about them, but we all forgot that there are 3 in total. None of us are particularly excited about it. Considering its how the Council judges us as adventurers and yet as far as I know, none of them have gone through the trials themselves. This next one is the Trial of Fear... It's already making me queasy.
