Session 7

Dear Dad,
 
I totally forgot like a whole chunk of last night.
 
So, we did in fact talk with Ymot and Diddreom. Ymot apparently got there by traveling through the lands of scary and murderous dragons, which I totally though didn't happen because they stay away from us and we stay away from them? So anyway, ignore everything I said about dragons before, they're dangerous and might be surrounding Ekrakir.
 
Diddreom and Ymot could not come up with a solid explanation for what was going on with the fire plane and why it just Plane Plopped. I made up that term for whenever a chunk of one plane plops into another. We came up with a whole bunch of questions about the situation, but no answers. We fear that more occurrences like this may become more common; they'll be hard to stop without knowing the cause.
 
Though don't freak out, I realize now that writing all this to you sounds super dramatic and world ending, but seriously we think it's fine. It's just a small... plane plop. Everything will be fine. And we've even got dragons on our side!
 
So after brainstorming nothing, we all turned into bed. Well, most of us. Throden and I went to get his kobolds who we left at the beginning of the mines to keep safe. On the way there and back, I got Throden to talk a bit about himself. He comes from Vormash, which isn't too far from Ekrakir! But it sounds completely different. His home is surrounded completely by this huge black stone wall and everything inside the city is made of clay. He sounded wistful while talking about it, but got more cautious about it the more we talked. Something must've happened, he says he can't return home. He's remorseful over something he's done.
 
So instead we talked about the kobolds and their life debt to him because apparently he saved their lives or something. I also thanked him cause he was the reason Xenyria invited Melecha into the city guard. Throden caught Xenyria doing some questionable stuff in Bug Uluhm, but instead of arresting her, he invited her into the guard. Xenyria did basically the same thing for Melecha cause she wanted to pay the good deed forward. He looked pleasantly surprised and pleased.
 
Well anyway, we just did some goliath yoga and are gonna be doing some trial for Diddreom and Ymot. I'll tell you how it goes!
