Gromzug
Of the three great calderas of the western badlands, Gromzug, literally translated as The Great Maw, is the largest of the three. Churning fields of fire stretch out beyond sight with acrid air choking any living being other than the Ogres who thrive in those conditions. Two Ogreholds were settled along the rim of Gromzug, Gromgar in the South and Drozgar in the North.Climate
In the heart of Kruzug, a void of all life is found. Excepting for the approaches to Gromzug, no elevation is found and by extension, no shade is found to provide salvation from the bearings of the sun above.
As you reach Gromzug, you will begin tasting the air itself as the smoke from the caldera can be encountered hundreds of miles from the Caldera.
Along the Coastal Stretch however, seaborne winds provide a desperately needed relief for any who may have attempted to traverse the badlands.

Fauna & Flora
Devilgrass, a large, thin, fiberous blades of grass that breach through vents of dried, cracked earth is the only flora that has come to thrive throughout Kruzug.
