The capital city of The Nuraeven Kingdom located in the depths of a frozen mountain within the Frostfang Mountains. World renowned for the artisan crafting that comes from its guilds, and surly dwarves.

Races

Permanently speaking it is rare for any race but dwarves to live there as citizenship and land rights are very tied to lineage, but there is a small number of of the population that is not dwarf but has been granted citizenship. They are most typically Gnomes, and Dragonborn.

Industry & Trade

Mining

As with many dwarven settlements the city's access to raw minerals is its main resource that fuels nearly all of the industry in the city. The extensive system of mine shafts in the lower portions extend many miles into the Underdark into veins rich with nearly every conceivable metal, and some that may be a myth outside of dwarven lands. Mining is considered one of the highest venerated professions in the city, and miners are treated with the respect due to their profession as ordained by the dwarven god Moradin.

History

One of the oldest known settlements on the continent, the exact date of establishment is unknown however scholars are certain that the city predates nearly all other countries on the continent save for those in Nan Elmoth and Taur-na-Chardhîn. It is believed the city was settled sometime during the Era of Blood, but the exact year is debated.
