Sokinan Mountain System

The Sokinan Mountains are a vast mountain range belt that bisects the entire continent of Sagaas. The core spine of the range is a string of active and dormant volcanoes running roughly east to west. Smaller complexes of mountains without volcanism parallel this core to the north and south. To the east, two roughly parallel ranges form the eastern extent of the complex, eventually ending at the coast.

The complex rises to elevations well in excess of 20,000 feet to the south and to the east of the volcanic core. The core itself tops 30,000 feet, forming a massive wall of stone dividing the northern and southern portions of the continent.
