Oslan Marines
The most elite unit in all of the Kingdom of Osland. These marines have seen nearly all corners of Osland and abroad. They are on constant deployment for expeditions or garrisoning dangerous outposts and forts such as Hellfort. The marines are one of the only units within Osland that regularly sees combat whether it be monsters or men. Their regular foe are the fiends of The Infernal Steppes and the Saurials of the Zlaatan Jungles.

A unit of Marines is made up of 100 men called a cien. A cien is always stationed on every war vessel larger than a sloop. A quintem is made of 500 marines and can be found on Oslan Dreadnaughts or transport vessels. A decem is made of 1,000 marines and is the primary deployed size of marines. A decem will be deployed to a colony or onto a battlefield. Hellfort, for instance, is manned by at least 2 decem at all times. There are only 20 decems active currently, though King Faelon Amelheim seeks to raise these numbers significantly.
