Freelancer
Culture
Major language groups and dialects
The languages they speak include Common and Halfling tongues culturally, some of the more obscure Human Variants (Mutants) may speak Giant, Draconic, Celestial, Abyssal, and Infernal innately. Some may have even more obscure tribal tongues as well.
Shared customary codes and values
The Freelancers as a whole are the Humans and Human descended races that make up the whole of the Freelands. Human descended races may include Dragonborn, Goliaths, Halflings, Tieflings, Aasimars, Yuan-Ti, Shifters, Changelings, Tritons, and technically Half-Elves; though they are moderately disdained to extremely persecuted by some "normal" Humans and Human descendants. Particularly Half-Elves as they may be double agents for Avalon or the Freelands. In addition though a more relatively modern creation, Warforged count as Human Variants as well and are in most Freelancer societies but are considered second class citizens. Changelings are very closely tied to Fey and its magic, thus many have been hunted and tried as Elves so they are mostly either hiding or have been exiled to Avalon. Half-Orcs count as well despite being half a Dweller race, and are treated with some suspicion. Reborn, Hexbloods, and Dhampir are treated with even greater suspicion and fear if not outright persecuted by the Holy Order of the Light.
