Razakir (RAH-zah-KEER)
The Razakir are an internal division of the Itoqir consisting of koza riders, the Itoqir's primary war cavalry. They do not currently have a Jal, meaning that one of their Eba-Razakir -- Uvandu Sah -- is their ranking officer to report to Jal-Nalir Madan Ghuzneind, their current superior. In addition to Eba-Razakir Dalias Azeri, they have four of Priik rank and currently number around forty.
Their standard-issue weaponry varies, though northern glaives and other polearms are common along with ranged weapons. Their standard-issue uniform typically consists of a tall-belly (a side-laced leather belt -- sometimes metal-plated -- wide at its front to cover the abdomen and lower at the back), leather trousers and boots, formed leather greaves and bracers, and fingerless leather gloves. In combat they will often add a formed leather helmet and leather jerkin.
It is not unusual for Shogu aiming to specialize in this discipline to bring their own koza from home, if they have access. This is not an assumed advantage, however, as koza-keeping is often not within the budget or scope of an average family, and the military provides all Razakir-in-training with their own koza if they do not bring one. These koza are mostly-domesticated, and the trainee is expected to care for them and keep them throughout their military career -- in this sense, the animal grows with the trainee to create a strong bond.
The Acosaphaura family have had many notable Razakir or Razakir-equivalents, in addition to many of their (Etir) koza winding up in the Razakir.

Flag:
Their flag is a modification of the Itoqir's: an ochre vertical rectangle bordered in gold, with a red, four-winged drake centralized beneath a hollow golden sun, in the center of which is a roaring koza's head.

Assets
As of the Season of Opening, 1001AC, they have forty-one trained and active koza. In the vitria attack begun in the stables the night of the 29th Day of the Season of Opening, 1001AC, Kotia Acosaphaura was able to save all but five of the thirty-nine koza stabled there at the time, as well as fleeing on her own, Aensati. This reduced their numbers to thirty-five.
History
During the last three quarters of the War of the Six, they were led by Jal-Razakir Pyda Halbejan following the untimely deposition of the first Jal, Siuk Akcheres, who was driven mad and flew off the Precipice according to some witnesses. Halbejan became something of a folk hero when he confronted and killed the twin Ba'athorog Sororith and Niosoroth following their attack on a medical compound in retaliation against the Banishing. He died in the process, and the division has been without a Jal since. His deed was commemorated in 'The Fang in the Rib', one of Akasien Ttarvek's war poems.
