City of Gihdun

Gihdun is one of the six Dwarven Cities of Gorgomoth and is home to the Clan Broadbeard. It is a semi-independent city state comprised of a large subterranean city and about 1,200 square miles of mountains and valleys on the eastern extremes of the Gorgomoth range.   The territory of Gihdun is bordered on the south by the Agihd River and the Fangort frontier, on the west by the Dwarven realm of Dimrahl, on the north by the Dwarven realm of Vendural, and to the east by the County of Aramor. The City of Gihdun itself is located on and under the mountain known as the Gihdberg. The southern face of the Gihdberg is almost entirely covered by towers, walls, roads and stairs with three large and very well-defended entrances to the under-mountain portions of the city. In the broad and flat valley below the mountain face are many farms and villages were the daily sustenance of the city are produced and the resources manufactured.
