Gibber Tribe
The Gibbers are the most reclusive and secretive tribe within the Sypi Confederacy. They choose to use the least amount of territory of any of the tribes within Confederate lands, residing within the Nors Highlands, close to the Sypi River. They are avid proponents of arcane magic and techniques, and are believed to be the most skilled practitioners of magic in the entire region.
Structure
The Gibber Tribe's affairs are handled predominantly by the Council of the Skilled, an organization of the best wizards and sorcerers within the tribe. These are individuals who have shown their talents for magecraft and have been welcomed by acclaim of their peers. Every six years, these wizards select from among them a single leader to be chief, which is a mostly ceremonial role to assist in the management of the tribe and diplomacy with other tribes. The council can appoint members from among their ranks to deal with any diplomatic affairs or issues that emerge among the tribe.
Public Agenda
The Gibbers are strong supporters of the Bienombes, and their use of magic proved invaluable during the civil war against the wizards and clerics brought in by the Church of the One Sun. They have advocated for increased education and knowledge in the Confederacy, and have provided ample support for the University of Wofslar. They have also argued for their own rights to be able to recruit anyone at the university who shows a particular aptitude for magic.
Demography and Population
The Gibber Tribe is a fairly multi-ethnic tribe when it comes to the human population. For decades they have sought out and recruited any sorcerers or wizards from other tribes who have displayed skill in magic. Many of these individuals joined the tribe by choice and have learned much in the ways of magic. The tribe has also found a small but not inconsiderable number of forest elves who have left their brothers to the north to find a recluse more inclined towards arcane manners of magic as opposed to druidcraft.
